STARLINE THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE NOTICES
Release candidate for Starline 1.1.2 — 2026-10-08
SOURCE CODE AND RELINKING MATERIALS
===================================
The complete corresponding source code of the LGPL-licensed components (FFmpeg,
FriBidi, jcifs-ng), the build configuration, the full license texts and the
object files needed to relink the application with a modified version of those
libraries are available on request: contact@starlineplayer.com
Starline is proprietary software. The following third-party components remain
owned and licensed by their respective authors. Their inclusion does not imply
that those projects sponsor, endorse, own, or are affiliated with Starline.
FFMPEG
======
Starline includes FFmpeg 6.0.2, FFmpeg 6.1.1 and FFmpeg 9.0.2 components,
copyright the FFmpeg developers and other contributors, licensed under the GNU
Lesser General Public License version 2.1 or later for the configurations
shipped in the audited release. The audited configurations report GPL and
nonfree mode disabled.
FFmpeg 6.0.2 is statically linked into libffmpegJNI.so. FFmpeg 6.1.1 and 9.0.2
are shipped as shared libraries used by libstarline-native-demux.so.
Release compliance status: the exact FFmpeg sources (6.0.2 vendored snapshot,
6.1.1, 9.0.2), build configuration and relinking materials are in the source
package named above. FFmpeg 6.0.2 has no upstream release tarball; the vendored
tree is the release/6.0 branch snapshot and no patches are applied.
You must include the complete GNU LGPL 2.1 text and any applicable GNU GPL text
with the distributed application. Reverse engineering for the purpose of
debugging modifications to the LGPL-covered libraries must not be prohibited.
